We are the fundraising and sponsorship heads for Relay for Life at Endicott College. Each year, we reach out to local businesses and organizations to help us fundraise and sponsor our event. Last year we raised just short of $50,000 for the American Cancer Society with the help of the Massachusetts community. We are reaching out to you in hopes that we can form a connection and gain your support for our club. If you are interested, we’d love to be able to fundraise with the help of your business. Working with your establishment would be greatly appreciated as we raise money for a common cause.
The goal of Relay for Life is to raise as much money and awareness for the American Cancer Society as possible. The American Cancer Society is an amazing organization that raises money for cancer research, provides support for those currently battling cancer, and for those who have lost their fight. Our job for Endicott’s Relay for Life is to fund the ACS, which we not only try to accomplish with small fundraisers throughout the year, but with a 12 hour overnight event! With the goal of creating a sense of community and bringing awareness to what ACS does, our 12 hour event is the perfect opportunity to do so!
With the support of businesses like yours, we have been able to raise money for our event to not only donate money to ACS but encourage Endicott students to come to the event and donate by providing food and fun activities throughout the night! Any fundraising opportunities are greatly appreciated by our organization. Some examples of fundraisers we’ve done with businesses in the past include: giving us a percentage of sales, allowing us to leave donation buckets at your business, allowing us to set up a table outside your business, etc. To show our appreciation, your company will be recognized as a donor/sponsor that aided in our event.
