Since our humble beginnings in 2004, EquiCenter has rapidly grown from a small adaptive
riding program to a premier accredited member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH), and a 501(c)(3) non-profit facility serving individuals with special needs. Our mission is to foster growth, wellness, and educational opportunities for people of all ages and abilities through the power of equestrian, horticultural, and outdoor experiences. These activities, offered on-site at our 200-acre facility, help those we serve to meet their goals related to physical, emotional, and mental health – often in a transformative way. Participants in our programs come from across the Greater Rochester region, primarily from Monroe County, but also from Ontario County and neighboring counties in the Finger Lakes.
