The Evansville Children's Choirs provide a music program emphasizing the sequential learning of musical skills and concepts through the rehearsal and performance of choral repertoire. The choirs seek to achieve the following goals:

-To help children experience the art of making music;
-To learn proper, basic vocal technique;
-To encourage the personal and social growth of choir members and promote their sense of self-worth, self-esteem, accomplishment, and pride;
-To attain a high level of artistic excellence in public performances;
-To encourage an artistic appreciation and understanding of world cultures through the performance of international music in different languages;
-To contribute to the cultural life of the Tri-state area;
-To share educational and cultural resources with the community; and
-To nurture the development of a learning environment that will enhance children's consumption of the arts and their life-long contribution to the arts.

The Evansville Children's Choirs are open to children in grades 2-12, from all racial, economic, and religious backgrounds. The choirs exist to enrich the artistic lives of children in the choirs, their parents, and audiences throughout the Tri-State by presenting musical programs of the highest quality while providing education and enrichment opportunities. Outlined herein are the educational structures of the program and the professional policies that go hand-in-hand with the artistic goals.
