Our goal is to help raise money for the new families just finding out what lemonade and bacon can do for their son or daughter. We would like to put together starter kits for the child (and parents) that are leaving the hospital. Our vision is to include insulin cases, Band-Aids, a toy, stuffed animal for the child to squeeze while getting all his/her shots, and Pamphlets that will help Mom and Dad navigate all the T1D technology and neat things in the Diabetes community. We want to give back to the hospitals that helped Harlee and I with the new world of T1D.
