Ewenity Farm, Herding Dog Haven is a medium sized FOSTER BASED rescue organization located in southwest Florida. Being smaller helps us give more one on one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. We are NOT a shelter. The dogs are evaluated when they come into rescue for any temperament and health issues. They are given basic obedience, socialization, and rehabilitation as dictated by their needs.
Being a herding breed, and one of the most intelligent breeds, they require much of the owner's attention.
Please go to the page, "So you think you want a Border Collie," read, and think about whether this is a dog for you. They are wonderful personalities, but not right for everyone.
It is our sole purpose and intent to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs who have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, on heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and microchipped.
