Mission: The Exeter Day School, incorporated in 1939, is a non-profit, open corporation dedicated to providing quality early education to children in the greater Exeter, NH area on a non-discriminatory basis at an affordable cost. Based on its assessment of community needs, the school is currently using all of its resources to provide appropriate pre-school programs for children ages two to six.
Philosophy: The philosophy of the Exeter Day School reflects the belief that the emotional, physical, cognitive, and social areas of development are integrated in the effort to help the child become a whole person. A healthy blending of these three areas will enable the child to face bigger challenges with ease and intelligence. The school encourages the child to develop and keep with him or her enjoyment of learning, expressed through constant curiosity and the knowledge and appreciation of his or her own talents as well as those of others.
Exeter Day Annual 5K Trail Race & Kids Fun Run: Proceeds from the 2019 race will go towards tuition assistance, building improvements and playground upgrades. A raffle donation and/or sponsorship is much appreciated.
