The expERIEnce Children’s Museum is a place that has been inspiring creativity and imagination in children for over twenty five years. The museum is a non-profit organization located in the Downtown Erie. The museum is a place where children can become a ship captain, showcase their artistic flair, and be a part of a kid-sized community.
Our mission is to engage children, families, and our community from all backgrounds in play-based educational experiences that inspire creativity, exploration, and imagination. We fulfill our mission through state-of-the-art exhibits and unique and engaging educational programming.
Since reopening the museum in June 2023 after the completion of phase one of our expansion, we have welcomed over 70,000 kids and their families through our doors, as well as continuing our outreach programming in undersevered schools.
