FaithWorks operates a variety of shelter and supportive service programs that aim to compassionately assist homeless families, veterans and those in need. Since 2006 we have provided transitional housing for more than 250 homeless families, and nearly 80 veterans. Additionally, we operate a homeless prevention program that has provided 97 rental assistance payments that prevented evictions from 2020 through today.

All of our programs offer robust supportive services which include case management, onsite counseling, classes, financial assistance (when needed), youth programming and access to food and supplies. Our most recent efforts have been focused on the next generation and ensuring that the youth that we serve have the opportunity to grow up healthy, strong and prepared for the life in front of them.

Through onsite youth advocacy, one on one education, and mentoring, we provide flexible and unique services to each child that we serve. At any given time, we house and support 38-45 children onsite and support an additional 8-15 in our prevention program. We also strive to maintain meaningful contact after youth exit our programs.  We have twelve transitional units for homeless families and four units for veterans, where we provide shelter for up to 2 years. The cost of upkeep and furnishing these units is high but we offer a critical service for folks who have found themselves on the streets and unable to obtain housing elsewhere.

We accept new clients regardless of criminal history, evictions and credit and help them stabilize, heal, and find a new identity that includes the means to provide for themselves in the future.
