Family Assistance Ministries(FAM) mission is to assist people in need in our local South Orange County community. FAM provides their clients with food, shelter, and personalized coaching on their journey to independence. Our clients can come to the food pantry once a week. They can meet with case managers to address their housing needs or whatever else they need. FAM also runs two shelters in San Clemente. One shelter is for single women or women with children. The other shelter is for families. The shelter clients can stay up to 90 days where they receive assistance with food, job searches, personalized counciling, and assistance finding permanent housing. FAM provides permanent supportive housing to 12 individuals who were previously unhoused with disabilities. FAM also provides help to low-income families trying to obtain rental vouchers. FAM's proven success model focuses on root cause issues to deliver long term results that change lives for the better in our local South Orange County community.
