Since 1980, Family Hospice has been serving the needs of patients and their families. We are the largest nonprofit hospice organization in Pennsylvania.
The mission of Family Hospice is to provide compassionate, quality comfort care that enhances the lives of people with life-limiting illness and their families. We support the patients and their families in their own homes, in skilled nursing facilities, in hospitals, and in our Canterbury inpatient unit in Lawrenceville. Our team of physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors and volunteers embrace entire families - helping them to cope with the many emotions that surface as a result of this important transition in their lives.
Description of services:
We take a holistic approach to caring for patients and their families. On the surface we provide care for those at end of life. The complete picture includes services and programs that help physically, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically with our team of physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors, and bereavement professionals.
