As a private nonprofit, multi-service agency, FamilyMeans facilitates positive life changes by offering client-centered, asset-building, evidence-based programs that strive for excellence in care and outcomes. With FamilyMeans, better is possible.

FamilyMeans was founded in 1963 to fill an identified gap in family social service providers in the St. Croix River Valley. FamilyMeans has grown to be a trusted and reliable community resource to the St. Croix Valley and beyond. While our service area, programs, and impact has grown and changed, our steadfast commitment to people who need support and guidance as they navigate life’s challenges has been the common thread for the past 60 years.
