FURR is a 100 percent volunteer-based, non-profit animal rescue organization. We are committed to spaying and neutering and providing proper veterinary attention to all cats that come into our care. We are active in doing companion animal adoptions, which entail placing friendly cats into good, loving homes. Additionally, we socialize feral cats and kittens whenever possible, and we provide low cost spay/neuter options for those who need them. We find homes for more than 750 cats per year. We also assist individuals and communities with feral cat colony management using the Trap-Neuter-Return Method, which helps to humanely control free-roaming cats. We are very active in TNR in the Lehigh Valley. We help approximately 600 feral cats through TNR each year.
