Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a well-respected sports ministry with a rich history. Since 1954, FCA has challenged athletes and coaches to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA currently reaches approximately two million people annually on every level—professional, college, high school, junior high and youth. Globally, FCA's staff has grown to more than 1,200 in over 500 local offices across the country.
Throughout this school year, locally, we reach around 1,550 athletes weekly. We host 100 weekly huddles (Bible studies with coaches and athletes) where we provide support, guidance, and character coaching to athletes and coaches. In addition, we host several team dinners and breakfasts to serve our coaches and athletes and connect them with the local church. As a nonprofit, all of our support and funding comes from individual donors and businesses that believe in our ministry. We have a team of four staff members, three interns, a dozen volunteers, and 16 local church partners that serve our small community.
