The Filipino American Nurse Anesthesiology Society (FANAS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Filipino American nurse anesthesiologists and nurses through mentorship, professional development, and community engagement. Our outreach initiatives focus on serving underserved and impoverished communities through volunteer-led medical missions and health education. Our work includes organizing multidisciplinary teams of volunteer nurses, anesthesiologists, and allied health professionals to provide free health services, public health education, and disaster relief in areas with limited access to care.
By fostering collaboration, leadership, and cultural pride within the Filipino American healthcare community, FANAS advances equitable care and champions diversity in medicine—both at home and abroad.
