First Tee-Greater San Antonio enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids carry to everything they do. In 2022, we touched the lives of over 2,500 youth in our community. Beyond golf, we strive to instill values, character, and essential life skills in every participant. Our dedicated volunteers, coaches, and staff played a pivotal role in providing mentorship and instruction in a safe and fun environment. We take immense pride in being an organization that breaks barriers and makes golf accessible to all. Thanks to the support of our generous donors and sponsors, our program fees have not changed in three years. All programming is subsidized at 60% of the cost and no child is turned away due to financial need. Providing the necessary equipment and golf access further solidifies our commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the sport.
