The mission of First3Years is to educate, advocate, and collaborate to advance the healthy development of infants, toddlers, and their families. Our programs are designed to build awareness of the critical importance of the first three years of life, enhance the quality of relationships between infants/toddlers and their caregivers, and educate professionals in best practices.
Since 1980, we have trained thousands of professionals and parents on the latest research in infant/toddler development. Today, First3Years has a state-wide reach with a presence in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. Our primary audience for all programming includes those working directly with at-risk infants, toddlers and their families; such as child care staff, Nurse Family Partnership, Healthy Start, Parents as Teachers, therapists, CPS, Judges, Child Placement Agencies, Lawyers, Early Childhood Intervention, and other early health and development professionals.
