At Five Acres Animal Shelter, our mission is to end pet homelessness, promote responsible pet ownership, and advocate for animal welfare.
With a save rate of over 98% we exist to ensure every animal is safe, sound, and homeward bound.
We welcome over 2,000 homeless pets into our shelter from across both Saint Charles and Saint Louie counties, as well as help pets from across the state. These pets are provided with dedicated veterinary care, treatment, food, love and hope until they find new loving families.
We are a no-kill animal welfare organization, meaning every animal is given the opportunity for a new beginning regardless of length of time with us, breed, age, etc.
