The Flemington Moose #1829 is a chartered lodge of The Loyal Order of Moose, an international organization of men and women dedicated to caring for young and old, bringing communities closer together, and celebrating life. Our roots can be traced to 1888 and the founder of the Moose, Dr. Henry Wilson, who successfully established the first Lodge in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Moose organization provides valuable service to our communities, care for children in need at Mooseheart Child City & School, a 1,000-acre campus located 40 miles west of Chicago and care for our senior members at Moosehaven, a 70-acre retirement community near Jacksonville, Florida. The organization contributes between $75 to $100 million worth of community service annually.

The Flemington Lodge #1829 was chartered in 1957 and the Women’s Chapter #1198 followed the next year. We moved into our current location in 1965 and have been an active member of the Flemington community since then. We contribute to a wide range of local and national charities while providing a place for our members to gather socially. The Flemington lodge hosts frequent events that are also open to the public.
