Flint River Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that provides a way for families to have a   decent, safe place to live. Habitat for Humanity international was founded in 1976. We are an affiliate program located in Albany, GA, serving Dougherty, Lee, Terrell, and Worth counties. Our yearly activities include Women Build, Collegiate Challenge, GA Gives Day, Hammer Jam, our Veteran repair program, and our Homeownership program. Throughout the year, we build and rehab homes (with the help of local volunteers, care-a-vanners, Women Build, Collegiate Challenge, etc.), and we place qualifying families in these homes. We partner with each family to ensure that they are building their credit up, paying bills on time, and getting the necessary home repairs and insurance they need.

Our annual fundraiser, Hammer Jam, is on August 18, 2018. 100% of proceeds from Hammer Jam go directly towards building homes for families or veterans in need in Dougherty and Lee counties. The event will consist of live, local bands, a silent auction, and a live auction. Businesses may sponsor the event by purchasing tables, and individuals may purchase tickets to the event.
