The Forest Avenue SCA (school and community assocaition) is a group of parents and guardians that work directly with the school to help enhance and contribute to the daily lives of our elementary age students. We organize, schedule and fund, assemblies, a trip for the graduating class, provide teacher appreciation week activities, popsicles on field day, organize hot lunch on mondays, extra recess equipment, and provide extra resources for teachers individual classrooms based on what their specific need is. We also like to give gifts to each teacher at the beginning of school, holidays, and their birthday so they know how important they are to our community or students.
