The mission of Forever Footprints is to ensure that families who have suffered a pregnancy or infant loss receive the best support, comfort, and resources possible. For 16 years, Forever Footprints has provided direct support and services to families; educated the medical community to improve quality of care and response; and offered opportunities for remembrance to help families find their own path to healing.
One in four women will lose a baby in pregnancy or infancy. The loss of an infant through stillbirth, miscarriage, or neonatal death is recognized as a traumatic life event. Most support has, historically and understandably, focused on the mother. However, dads and living children need support as well. Forever Footprints offers support to the entire family after a loss of a child.
