Forster Ranch Education Foundation (FREF)'s ongoing mission is to fill the funding gap by providing educational support to the students and staff at both Truman Benedict Elementary School and Bernice Ayer Middle School. We are a team of parent volunteers who are passionate about enhancing our children’s education and supporting our educators and campus staff. All revenue generated by FREF stays within the two school communities we support, and all funds go directly towards improving our schools.
Over the course of last year, FREF hosts a variety of events and opportunities to raise funds for immediate classroom use which is then distributed through the FREF grant application process. These grants support students and educators on this campus in a variety of ways including the Innovation Station (STEM Lab), WEB (We Each Belong Program) bridgine friendships beween 6th graders and upper classmen at the middle school, individual classroom technology and flexible seating, school-wide enhancements for outdoor learning, curriculum supplies, grade-level teacher training and more.
