Fort Washington Forward's mission is to attract smart and practical holistic investment to the Fort Washington, Maryland community, that accentuates retail, the environment, and parks and recreation. Our programs include: Community Farmers Market, Community Gardening Programming, Trail Beautification, Illegal Dumping Prevention, Bi-Monthly Community Development Forum, and urban planning advocacy.
Our annual Silent Auction supports the operations of our various programs that support our mission. Our silent auction occurs online and during our farmers market season, and we host almost 300 customers per market day (10 market days total). Our reach is the 30,000 residents of Fort Washington, MD.
