For over forty years, Fox Valley Special Recreation Association has provided a diverse range of recreational activities to enable individuals with disabilities to experience active and healthy lifestyles. Often, these programs are an individual’s only lifeline to friends and the community. The 600 programs offered by Fox Valley Special Recreation are designed to enhance skill development and socialization, encourage self-awareness and community exploration, promote independence, and provide a sense of enjoyment for our participants. Fox Valley Special Recreation focuses on providing inclusion and day programs for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities. Emphasis is placed on education and recreation with a staff highly trained Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists
