Franklin Military Academy is very unique as it is the only military-based public school in its district. The students learn discipline, structure, and respect, all the while meeting the standard requirements to attain their high school diploma. Although the school is small, it's comprised of both a middle and a high school.
Each student's mindset has been carefully influenced and shaped by the military aspect of the school, but also by the caring personalities of the teachers who see them every day.
The students who attend this school are no different from your average teenager, so they love to be social, but also enjoy learning in new and exciting ways! Taking field trips, learning hands-on, and working with others are a few techniques that help to keep students engaged in what they're learning.
Being a combined middle and high school, there are approximately 375 total students. The entire student body receives free/reduced-price breakfast and lunch during the school day. While the students as a whole may have some economic disadvantages, they still deserve the best!
