We fully recognize the benefits and advantages to be derived from a well-organized body of citizens in case of fire/rescue and actuated by a fervent desire to assist our fellow citizens when in danger and disaster, and sensible to the importance of a fire department in the time of fire/emergency, have organized a fire company for the above purpose in Franklin Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
The Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company was chartered in 1972. The fire company currently has 45 active firefighters, 10 active fire police, 35 active auxiliary members and operates four pieces of apparatus that respond to fires, rescues, and other emergency calls within the township and lending mutual aid to neighboring communities. The fire company is located at 2440 Fairyland Road. Call 610-377-2144 to volunteer. Your donations and continued support at these events are very much appreciated.
