Friendly & Feral Cat Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity that works with the surrounding communities near Schaumburg, Illinois to find homes for our felines in need of help. We are also a no-kill organization and will never put down a healthy cat just because it has no home. We run a 100% volunteer organization that uses all monies and donations for the health and well-being of our cats and kittens. Many of our cats come from senior citizens who can no longer care for their beloved pets. Others have been abandoned and brought to us by residents or Police Departments. We also help reduce the number of stray or feral cats that roam the neighborhoods by lending humane traps to interested people and then transport the cats to a Veterinarian for neutering or spaying of the cats. If they are truly wild and cannot be domesticated, we will release them where they were found. Therefore, we provide a necessary service to our surrounding suburbs and bring love and joy to hundreds of families who adopt out cats.
