The Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library is a local nonprofit that works to bring together library lovers; promote public awareness and community support, and encourage gifts and fundraising to support the programs and services provided by Arlington Public Library.
Many of the Library’s programs and services have been possible due to the funding provided through FFAPL’s book sales. FFAPL funding is the primary support for Discover Summer, our annual summer reading program. FFAPL support also allows the Library to offer various programs for all ages throughout the year, such as early literacy, cultural programs, adult education, and maker programs. As a 501(c)3, FFAPL is also a conduit for various grants and corporate donations to help fund programming projects. Without FFAPL's support, a large span of the programming currently offered would not be possible.
