Friends Village is an independent living and personal care community, built on Quaker values, with a focus on purpose, community, wellness, and kindness. We believe that older adults may grow and thrive at any age or stage of ability. We strive to offer them the resources to do so by providing caring, community living in an environment that promotes purpose, wellness, and kindness.
Friends Village serves older adults of middle income: those who cannot afford the high, out-of-pocket costs of community living or supportive services, yet earn too much to qualify for meaningful financial assistance as they age.
We strive to keep costs low so that our pricing may remain accessible to those of the forgotten middle. Through the generosity of others, we are able to maintain accessible priving and provide meaningful programming in a safe and caring environment.
Located on two campuses in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Friends Village has served middle income older adults for more than 125 years.
