Every year, Friends of Children with Special Needs hosts an Annual Fundraising Gala to raise awareness to the needs of the developmentally disabled as well as raising funds to offer further services to the special needs community. This year, due to COVID-19 and the restrictions in place regarding health, safety & social distancing requirements, our Gala will once again be held virtually on November 6th, 2021.
During a time where the need to connect with your community is stronger and more important than ever, FCSN continues to strive to provide services for individuals with disabilities through a wide range of modified services to meet the needs of our clients. We continue to offer programming and services that are flexible with our client’s schedule, whether it is in person or virtually. FCSN continues to work towards re-opening our programs in full, with new and improved safety protocols so that our special needs clients are able to return to their normalized routines safely.
Individuals with disabilities are having more trouble coping with the repercussions of the pandemic than other communities. There are high numbers of individuals whom are now isolated from the support circles that provided them with social interaction & a sense of community. Please help us continue to give support to individuals with special needs. Donate. Your donation of your companies’ products, gift cards, tickets, etc. will be included in our raffles. Straight monetary donations are also welcomed. All donations are tax deductible and full acknowledgement will be given at the event.
