The Friends of Delaware has a mission of providing the veterans of Delaware emergency financial assistance. Whether it is with hosuing, utilities, or clothing their children, we want to ensure veterans and their families are cared for while residing in Delaware. Delaware is not a "military friendly" state, and although legislation is making strides to change that, veterans get virtually no assistance compared to other states. We want to be the reassuring element in Delaware that a veteran, who was willing to risk everything for their country, can lean on us when times are hard.
