We are a non profit that started in 2011 to help the Douglas County Sheriff's K9 unit. We have purhcased all of the current working dogs as welll as a therapy dog for the new DCSO Wellness Program. We have also purchased all of their bullet proof vests, tracking collars, trainig classes such as tracking and bite work. We have also started retirement funds for each of the K9 officers so their handlers don't have to worry about food etc when they retire.
We are also going to start to build a training facility so all the K9 units can have a area of their own so they can train at anytime and don't have to scheule it around SWAT team etc.
