Friends of Gardner is a parent-led nonprofit organization established exclusively for the purposes of providing a support system for the public education and community efforts of Gardner Street Elementary School. Friends of Gardner will help provide Gardner students educational opportunities to use their creative talents and develop aesthetic values in the creative arts that will assist them in achieving their highest potential as they become confident, thoughtful and productive members of society.
The purpose of the non-profit is:
· To identify enrichment programs or activities of interest to the school community and determine a strategy for implementing the programs in partnership with school administrators and faculty.
To fundraise to financially support the enrichment programs established by Friends of Gardner in partnership with Gardner Street Elementary School. This includes instructional fees as well as materials/supplies costs.
To provide volunteer assistance as needed to support the enrichment programs established.
