Friends of Hancock (FOH) shall exist for the purpose of broadening the involvement of students, student families, and John Hancock College Preparatory High School, through support for all school sports teams, clubs, and/or various student activities and events. Friends of Hancock works to achieve this, through active participation of as many students, parents, and supporters as possible in our fundraising activities. Friends of Hancock works closely with the principal and administration of John Hancock College Preparatory High School to determine what the financial needs are of the various sports teams, clubs, and/or student activities and events that are not covered by the Chicago Public Schools (CPS). Friends of Hancock will then provide financial assistance by purchasing equipment, items, or fund a project that will benefit the students of John Hancock College Preparatory High School.
