Thank you for your consideration to donate to the Marquez Charter Elementary School Auction, sponsored by the Friends of Marquez. Friends of Marquez (FOM) is a non-profit group comprised of parents and supporters of the Marquez School located in Pacific Palisades, CA.
FOM’s sole mission is to raise money to pay for academic and program enrichments that have been eliminated by the Los Angeles Unified School District budget cuts. 100% of all funds raised go directly to programs at Marquez. The largest portion of funds raised by FOM is spent on paying teacher and teacher aide salaries to keep our class size small. FOM also pays for Science, Music, Art, PE and Technology enrichment programs. Our fundraising goal for the Spring Auction is $50,000 which will be directly put to use in Marquez School classrooms.
Because of donations from companies like you we were able to continue Drama, Science and PE with kids via Zoom- through the pandemic. We are so grateful!
All donors will be acknowledged in multiple event communications to the Palisades community, and on our school website.
Friends of Marquez is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit organization exempt from taxation under Section 501 C 3 of the IRS code. It’s federal tax ID # is 95-3880554.
