Located in the heart of Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood, McPherson Elementary is truly a school for every child. Our motto “Where All Can Succeed” ensures that each student receives a well-rounded education that includes a unique combination of academic standards and achievement in a safe and inviting school culture.   
Our students learn international mindedness by taking a world language class and learning from a global perspective. Our IB Primary & Middle Years Programme focus on developing caring and open-minded students who take action to make the world a more peaceful place. Additionally, we have four low incident cluster classrooms and two multi-sensory classrooms to support the needs of our diverse learners. In 2020, we added a Gifted Learning program where students engage in accelerated academics. 

 

As for our organization, Friends of McPherson Public Elementary School (Pre-K - 8th grade) is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization, located at 4728 North Wolcott Avenue.
