On behalf of Friends of Mental Health, I am writing to request your consideration of donating to our annual spring gala, the Ping Pong Ball.
All monies raised by our foundation goes towards our community needs fund which has assisted over 800 clients in cases where basic needs were not being met such as weather appropriate clothing, food, medication assistance, and much more. Due to generous donors in our community, these individuals are now able to make ends meet where they might not have otherwise.
In our 14 years, we have raised over $300,000 to support programs and services for those with mental illness and addictions. Your contribution will make such a difference because your gift will go directly to support clients in need who work hard towards improving and living their best life.
Funding from our events has been used for a variety of programs and services. Each year we are able to enhance our offerings to those we serve. Because of the Friends of Mental Health, we are able to have real conversations about services that are needed and how we might support these endeavors through fundraising. It’s exciting to see all that we been able to accomplish in the last fourteen years!
