Friends of Nashville School of the Arts is the organization cmprised of parents, faculty and staff that enhances the educational experiences of all students attending NSA, by supporting the school with needed resources, money, and awareness. We are a public magnet high school serving any 9th-12th grade students in Davidson County (Nashville) who would like to focus on the fine arts. Although we recieve the same funding as other district schools, we have unique expenses since we are a fine arts school. For instance, in addition to wanting to fulfill teacher classroom requests, we have not been able to afford to replace our old theater lighting system and gels that "blew out". We are raising money to replace this equipment. All of our 650 students this year will benefit from the replaced and working theater lights since almost all of our conservatories use the theater. All future students will also benefit from this enhancement.
