P.S. 166 is a public K-5 elementary school that serves 650 students from across District 3 (from 59thto 123rd street). We have a general education, a G&T, and an ICT program. 19% of our students qualify for free or reduced priced lunch. We are committed to providing hands-on educational opportunities to all of our students.
The Annual Auction is PS166's largest fundraiser of the year. Our online auction opens on March 9 and culminates in a festive cocktail reception on March 21 at American Cut on East 56th Street.
Because of generous donors to our auction, we are able to help bridge significant gaps in New York City Department of Education funding, including hiring full-time teaching assistants to support our youngest students, ensuring that our school has a full-time librarian and supporting critical curriculum development in reading, writing, math and science.
