Our mission Statement: "To increase awareness of our history, and help preserve and restore the local sanctuary, Rockhaven"

Rockhaven was opened in 1923 to be run by women for women to give safe, dignified treatment, and the opportunity to go home instead of being drugged and warehoused. There are 14 buildings built between 1920 to 1939 on 3.3 oak covered acres in the Crescent Valley. It was family operated until 2001 then bought by the City of Glendale, who recently received $8 million in state funding to create a park and museum.

We lead tours, lecture, and are advocating on behalf of the community to preserve the buildings and get the best park possible on these historic acres. We intend to run The Museum at Rockhaven.
