Stock School, winner of 2 Awards of Excellence, one for inclusion of students with special needs and the second for teaching and learning, educates nearly 270 students annually. Stock is the most amazing preschool, full of warmth and excitement! As many as 50% of the students have mild to profound disabilities. They and their families depend on our highly specialized teaching staff, which includes therapists in the areas of speech, physical, occupational, and assistive technology. Stock’s philosophy embraces inclusion and promotes respect and improved awareness within our school and community.
Monies raised by Friends of Stock provide the ChiME music program, classroom technology, STEAM, strategic initiatives that enhance the overall well being and health of all our students, and even field trips. I hope you can agree that these are valuable initiatives to improve the quality of life at school.
