The Friends of the Library Mount Dorais a volunteer non-profit that funds critical children's programs at Mount Dora's W.T. Bland Public Library such as story time (6 days per week) and the summer reading program. In 2023 we funded 38 ongoing programs, book purchases and supplies. We also funded the Chick Hatching Experience, Head Start Outreach (33 children recieve a book each month). We will be funding a Storybook Walk with changing stories each month in the Forest Preserve.
