Full Potential is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, providing an array of educational and training services in Washington, DC and the surrounding areas. Our program has been in operation since 2015, providing students with an opportunity to enjoy a wide range of training such as: Academic Support for youth ages 5-18 and Workforce Development Training for youth ages 16-24. 

Our mission is to train, educate and uplift our community to thrive.

in 2015, we were housed at Minor Elementary School and CW Harris Elementary School providing homework, Math and Reading assistance to over 100 struggling learners. Our program helped to improve their math and reading skills. All students improved and was able to follow along during classroom instruction. 

In 2018, we partnered with TJ Maxx Stores and placed over 30 participants in the customer service field to obtain experience. After the internship five students were offered full time employment. We also provided youth with Financial Literacy, Soft Skills, Life Skills and Entrepreneurship skills. We certified all of our students in CPR and participated in DC Central Kitchen's Feed the Homeless Volunteer Days. 

In 2021, we provided support during the day to 50 students at Plummer Elementary School. We helped to increase students reading skills by building relationships, motivation, and by utilizing our enjoyable and engaging curriculum. Students improved in their reading and reading comprehension skills. 

In 2022, we provided support during the day to 50 students at Johnston Square Elementary School. We helped to increase students reading and reading comprehension skills utilizing our curriculum. 

In the Summer of 2023, we plan to provide 3 weeks of math and reading instruction to 30 struggling learnings in Baltimore, MD. 

We are currently working with Senator Jill Carters office in Delegates in the Johnston Square area of Baltimore, MD to obtain space and funding to continue to serve the youth in Baltimore, MD.
