Fund Homecare Canada is a registered Charity of Ontario (#779061142RC0001), where our mission is to provide funding towards support services for home-based Palliative cancer patients who wish to pass away from the comfort of their home, in Ontario.

Cancer is familiar to many of us. We all know someone who has passed away from it. But for an individual and their family members who have been told that there is nothing more medically that can be done to heal them is devastating news. Their next decision is to either stay in the hospital or come back home to be able to spend time with their loved ones.

To care for a palliative cancer patient at home can be overwhelming, tiring and financially draining on the rest of the family. There is limited government funding for this type of care.

Fund Homecare Canada provides funds for qualified beneficiaries towards the use of personal support workers to offer home based care to the dying individual, thereby allowing the family to focus on the patient and spending quality time together.

We are in our 2nd  year of operation and till date have supported 8 beneficiaries. The funds to allow us to do this came from self-funding as well the net proceeds from our launch event in June 2022.
