Galena High School’s JROTC program helps students develop leadership, personal responsibility, and teamwork – critical skills that build a solid foundation and set them on a path for success.  

 

Our Cadets develop these skills every day in the classroom, but the real growth comes from our extracurricular activities:

 

• Rifle Team (our Cadets compete regionally shooting air rifles)
 

• Raider Team (a team-based athletic competition against other area JROTC programs)
 

• Field trips of current or historic interest – the State Capitol, Travis Air Force Base, Defense Language Institute (Monterey).
 

With your help, we can expand our current efforts and offer more opportunities for our Cadets to become tomorrow’s leaders.
