I am writing on behalf of a local Los Altos public school, Gardner Bullis Elementary School. Each year, our school PTA holds our Spring Auction Fundraiser to raise money for educational programs for our students. My family often come to you store first when shopping for bikes. As a valued community business, we would love to have your support in our fundraising efforts to maintain the excellent standard of education our local schools currently are striving to maintain.
Gardner Bullis educates over 350 children in Kindergarten through 6th grade from Los Altos and Los Altos Hills neighborhoods. With shrinking state financial support, Los Altos schools do not receive sufficient funds to maintain many programs and activities that would enrich our students’ education. As a result, our PTA must provide the financial and volunteer support to extend the curriculum provided by the Los Altos School District.
Would you consider making a donation to our Spring Auction, the PTA’s annual fundraiser event? Any in-kind donation would be greatly appreciated because your donation directly supports educational programs for our students including:
· Art/Music/Drama for grades Kindergarten through 3rd Grade
· Computer technology and library materials
· Science Fair and Living Classroom garden lessons for all grades
· Project Cornerstone, an anti-bullying program for all grades
· Field trips and classroom supplies for all grades
I hope you will consider supporting Gardner Bullis for this school year. Our fundraiser event is on April 18, 2020. Each family will receive an auction catalog that promotes all of our donors.
