As the years pass, we have noticed a tremendous decline in family engagement in the school system. Our committee has gotten together and come up with fun ways we can engage families and get them more active in their child’s education. We have a family fun event planned that will encourage parents to stay active in education and allow us to raise some funds while having fun. This event is open to the public and encourages all families to come out and enjoy themselves. The more active families are in their child’s education, the more successful that child will be. We plan to hold several events that educate families and help them know they have a voice in their child's education. I am seeking donations that can help encourage a little family time as well, such as gift cards, certificates, company items, etc. Any items donated will be used during this time as a raffle. Funds raised help purchase attendance incentives, playground equipment, books for classrooms, covers free family events, and so much more.
