Garth House is a 501(C)(3) Nonprofit Organization that has been working for the children of Southeast Texas since 1991. We facilitate and conduct Forensic Interviews with children of alleged physical and/ or sexual abuse is an environment which reflects the physical and emotional atmosphere of a home, rather than that of a clinic or an institution. Each interview is recorded, so that the child does not have to recount their trauma repeatedly during the investigative, prosecutorial and healing process. On average we see over 900 children a year, with that number, unfortunately, growing each year. Counseling is then offered to the children and their non-offending family members at no cost to them. In addition to providing Forensic Interviews, Family Advocacy and Counseling services, Garth House also provides Care Coordination services for survivors of child sex trafficking. We serve six counties in Southeast Texas: Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Newton, Orange and Tyler.
