Founded in the 1970's, the GBTA Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter provides an important forum for the exchange of information, education and ideas among its members, who include representatives from local corporateions and leading travel industry suppliers. Our chapter is an official chapter of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) whose members represent corporate travel and meeting executives, major corporates and travel suppliers throughout the world.
Our chapter gives back not only to the community (through charity sponsorships by volunteering and raising money, blood drives and several donation drives for various schools in need) but to our members (by funding membership scholarships, member education/continuing education) and professional development). It is also our goal to bring the members together for professional development, successful networking and the exchange of ideas as well as bringing travel education content to local members in the DFW Metroplex.
Prior to Covid we were 250 strong. We are down a bit in numbers due to Covid (furloughs, job changes etc.) but we are starting to see our membership tick back up as the industry positions start to be filled again.
