Geek Wellness Education uses superheroes, cartoons and science fiction as a means to introduce mental health information and resources to children and adults who may otherwise slip through the cracks of conventional mental health outlets. We attend school functions, comic conventions and hold our own events to talk about mental health, as well as evidence based therapy concepts, in a way that will interest fans of pop culture. This allows us to break through walls that people may have that prevent them from seeking help.
